The best digital lock in Singapore for 2027 is not simply the one with the most features. It is the lock that is fire-rated for your door, fits how your family lives, and still feels modern in five years.
New technology arrives fast. In 2026 alone we saw palm-vein scanners, 3D face unlocking, hands-free phone keys and the launch of Aliro, the new unlock standard backed by Apple, Google and Samsung. But for HDB and BTO owners, one rule hasn’t changed: your main-door lock must be certified for a fire-rated door.
In this guide, the Go Digital Lock team shares our picks for 2027, grouped by the type of home and household they suit best.

Before you choose: the fire-rating rule
Most HDB and BTO main doors are fire-rated doors. Any digital lock fitted on them becomes part of that door’s fire-safety system.
So before you compare features, check three things:
- Certificate of Conformity (CoC): the lock should carry one from a local certification body, showing it meets SS 332 or EN 1634-1 fire testing.
- Model match: the CoC must cover the exact model you are buying, not just the brand.
- Professional installation: a poor install can damage door seals and affect the fire rating.
Many of the newest locks shown at international tech fairs are built for overseas doors and aren’t certified for Singapore fire-rated doors. Read more in our HDB Digital Lock Rules 2026 compliance checklist.
The best digital locks in Singapore for 2027
1. Xeno Alexi Pro Max: best overall
The Alexi Pro Max is our top pick because it already has the biometric technology most brands are only now starting to launch. Palm vein recognition reads the vein pattern under your skin. That makes it hard to copy, and it still works with wet or worn fingers, which suits Singapore’s humid weather.
- Unlock methods: palm vein, 3D face, fingerprint, PIN, RFID card, app
- Best for: families with elderly parents or young children, or anyone who wants the most future-proof lock
- Think about: it is a premium lock. If you only need fingerprint and PIN, a simpler model will do.
2. Aqara D200i: best for smart-home users
If your home already runs on Apple Home or other smart devices, the D200i fits in neatly. 3D face unlock is fast, and Apple Home Key lets you tap your iPhone or Apple Watch to open the door.
- Unlock methods: 3D face, PIN, NFC, phone, Apple Home Key
- Best for: iPhone households and smart-home fans
- Think about: check the CoC for your door type before you buy.
3. Philips 801-5HBS: best trusted global brand
Philips is a name many Singapore families trust. With its gateway connected, the 801-5HBS gives you app control, access logs and real-time alerts.
- Best for: homeowners who want a big brand and remote access

6. Solity GP-6000BAK: best fast face and fingerprint
Solity is a well-known Korean brand, and the GP-6000BAK combines face recognition with one of the fastest fingerprint readers we sell. It’s a strong mid-to-premium choice if you want quick, hands-free entry without a smart-home setup.

- Unlock methods: fingerprint, PIN, RFID tag, Bluetooth app, physical key, Wi-Fi (optional)
- Best for: landlords, Airbnb-style hosts and families who often give temporary access

Should you wait for 2027 launches?
For most homes, no. New features like hands-free unlocking (UWB) and Aliro will take time to reach locks that are fire-rated for Singapore. If your current lock is failing or you’re collecting BTO keys, buy a certified lock now. Look for one with strong biometrics and app support.
