What does the Eques VEIU Max do?
The VEIU Max replaces a traditional optical peephole with an exterior camera, video doorbell and 7-inch indoor touchscreen. It also supports motion detection, recording, remote monitoring and two-way communication.
How large is the indoor screen?
The Eques VEIU Max features a 7-inch touchscreen with a listed resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels.
Can it work without a smartphone?
The indoor display allows household members to view the entrance directly. A smartphone and Wi-Fi connection are required for remote viewing, mobile alerts and app-based communication.
Does the Eques VEIU Max support remote viewing?
Yes. Once connected to a compatible 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and paired with the supported Eques app, users can monitor their entrance remotely.
Does it detect movement outside the door?
Yes. The built-in PIR sensor can detect movement within a listed range of approximately three metres and trigger photo or video capture.
Can I communicate with visitors?
Yes. The built-in speaker and microphone support two-way communication through the indoor unit or connected mobile application.
Does the VEIU Max have night vision?
Yes. Infrared LEDs improve visibility in low-light conditions. A current local listing specifies night visibility of up to approximately three metres.
Can it record photos and videos?
Yes. The VEIU Max supports photo and video capture and includes 8GB of internal storage. It also supports compatible microSD cards with capacities of up to 512GB.
What is the battery capacity?
The current local VEIU Max configuration is listed with a built-in 10,000mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and battery-management system.
Is it suitable for HDB and BTO entrance doors?
It may be installed on compatible wooden or metal entrance doors. Local specifications list support for door thicknesses of approximately 35–110mm and viewer holes of approximately 18–50mm. Professional assessment is recommended before installation
